About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SIL House Manager to oversee multiple Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes. This is a hands-on operational leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to make a real impact on participants’ lives and staff development.

As House Manager, you will:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of up to 5–6 SIL homes.
  • Manage staff performance, rostering, recruitment, and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Build and maintain high-quality, participant-focused accommodation environments.
  • Engage with participants, their families, care teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular site visits and monitor service quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain homes based on assessed participant support requirements.
  • Liaise with families, support teams, disability services, and external stakeholders.
  • Hold monthly team meetings to improve communication and service delivery.
  • Assist staff with budgeting, expenditure tracking, and operational planning.
  • Monitor absenteeism, performance, and escalate staffing issues appropriately.
  • Ensure incidents are reported and managed per Embrace Community Care policies.
  • Conduct 2+ site visits per week to mentor teams and ensure quality outcomes.
  • Contribute to policy and procedure reviews to align with organizational goals.

About You

  • Proven experience as a SIL House Manager or in a similar leadership role in disability services.
  • Confident managing frontline teams in dynamic environments.
  • Skilled in staff rostering, recruitment, performance management, and operational oversight.
  • Strong understanding of NDIS compliance, documentation, and incident reporting.
  • Highly organised with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Passionate about high-quality service delivery and positive participant outcomes.
  • Able to work autonomously while aligning with organizational goals.
